Candidate Meet-and-Greet

There is no program for this one. Marisol Vance will be in the room for two hours, and so will anyone who wants to ask her something.

Why we run it this way

Every campaign event has an implicit filter: the people who are comfortable standing up in a hall of two hundred. An open evening has a different filter, and between them they catch more of the district than either does alone.

What tends to come up

• Whether standing as an independent means anything in practice.
• Where the money comes from.
• The three neighborhoods with no walk-in clinic.
• Manchester Row.

None of these are prepared answers. Several of them we have got wrong in public before and corrected afterwards, which is the reason the evenings are worth running.

Practical

Drop in any time between five and seven. Step-free entrance on the square side. Tea, and a table of biscuits that will not survive the first hour.
